2011 – 2012 Season

We have our Saturday Work Parties every TWO weeks from October until February/March.

Some mid week sessions will also be arranged for Tuesdays/Fridays

We meet at 9.30am in Jubilee Avenue at the bottom of the main woodland path (by the notice board).

Working Parties last for about 3hrs, so finishing in time for lunch

One of our main tasks this season will be to restore a large area of dense holly back to hazel coppice. This should keep us very busy with some major felling/clearance activities and planting of new hazel whips. There will also be opportunities to practice our coppicing skills as well as our old favourite bramble bashing! ;-)
