Lived in Bethnal Green until about 1970, then moved to Torquay. But I believe they then moved to Kent.
Address in pre-war (1930s) address book of my father has Mr & Mrs T Earnshaw, 78 Wilmot Street, Bethnal Green, London E2. This was crossed out and replaced by 20 Stansfield Avenue, Paignton, Devon. This in turn was crossed out.
