Honour for Crystal, 79
An Exmouth pensioner who has collected on behalf of St John Ambulance for an incredible 79 years - since she was just two - is to be honoured by the Queen.
Mrs Crystal Nicholson, 81, of Cranford Avenue, who first started when she was left outside her dad's tailors shop in a pram, holding a collection tin, is to be appointed Commander Sister in recognition for her "services to humanity"
