There are doubts regarding Hugh marrying twice as he married Mary Blackmore in May 1778, but a son Hugh was baptised on 20 Jul 1778 who was described as the son of Hugh and Thomasine. Unless Thomasine died in childbirth and the baby baptised later then the dates don't fit
